Great, you can speak some sentences. Guess it something like my english but easy to understand. '今天我要去围棋会' sounds better. It's right to use '将' describle something happens in the future, but we always skip it when have used a definite date.
今天 jin1 tian1 Today
我 wo3 I
要 yao4 will be going to
去 qu4 to go
围棋 wei2 qi2 go
会 hui4 club
